Care of flower plants

Flowers require more food than other plants and sunlight is the main source of food for all types of plants. Flower production requires a lot of energy, so flowering plants need more sunlight. So the flower plant in the place where there is an average of 7/8 hours of sunshine per day is able to produce more flowers. If the flower plant is on the roof, it will get enough sun and if it is on the balcony or in the house, keep it on the south facing balcony or next to the window. Because south and west facing balconies or windows have sunshine most of the day.

Choosing the right size pot according to your type of flower plant is very important. However, medium or slightly larger pots or tubs are better for flowering plants. A tub with a hole in the bottom is necessary so that excess water does not accumulate. Because if water accumulates in the tub, it causes damage to the plants. And changing the tub is also necessary. When you see the roots of the plant coming out through the hole in the bottom, then change it and replace the flower plant in another tub.

To get more flowers from garden or tub flower plants, you must pay special attention to the soil. The correct level of soil pH and fertility is very important for flowering plants. And so prepare the soil by mixing one third organic fertilizer with loam soil before planting the seedlings in the tub. Always keep the weeds at the base of the tree clean and occasionally loosen the soil at the base with a hoe. Do not forget to water regularly to keep the soil moist.

Nature loving people are more comfortable using organic fertilizers than chemical fertilizers. Packaged organic fertilizers are available these days but you can make your own organic fertilizers at home if you want. For this you can use some common materials like egg shells, banana peels, abandoned tea bags etc. Mix all the ingredients together and make a paste, if you don't have a mixer machine you can do it in a blender. Make a paste of the ingredients and dry them in the sun and use as much as you like in different steps. And especially collect the used tea leaves before mixing the sugar because the sugar stuck to the leaves will attract various insects.

When the flowers and leaves of the plant are dry, cut them off very carefully. By doing this, the plant will not spend extra energy and the next flowers will get the right amount of nutrition. It is best to cut off any branches that are dead or broken. They are a type of fungus that sometimes have white spots on the leaves. In this case, if you mix soap powder in water and wipe it with a soft cotton cloth, it will be cured. And sprinkle some soap powder around the tub to protect your flower plant from ant attacks.

Hopefully the above information will help you take care of your flower plant. Stay in touch with us to know the care and rules of different types of flowers, fruits and house decoration plants in rooftop garden or tub. Thank you!
